I was honored to sit down with Bianca Vandenbos for a Q&A about my upcoming book "Lost And Found In Mexico: A Widow’s Road To Recovery."
The memoir delves into the heart-wrenching experience of unexpectedly losing my husband while on vacation in Cabo for my 50th birthday. The challenges I faced while alone in a foreign country, where I leaned heavily on my faith to navigate the heartache and uncertainties. I openly discussed the raw realities of my financial situation and the hurdles I encountered upon returning home, aiming to prevent others from enduring a similar plight.

The decision to write and release the memoir was prompted by numerous individuals urging me to document my experiences after hearing my story, as well as feeling a compelling call from God.
It took a year to complete the book, during which I grappled with reliving painful events but found solace in the writing process, considering it a part of my healing journey.
I take pride in sharing my story and view it as a platform to make a positive impact.
I have also had the privilege of speaking to various organizations about the lessons I learned, and how I persevered with God by my side. Sharing my experiences and the unwavering support I received has been deeply meaningful, and I hope to continue to inspire others with my story.
I emphasize the unpredictability of life and the importance of being spiritually prepared, drawing from my own experience of feeling the overwhelming presence of God's love and support during my time in Cabo.
My ultimate prayer is for God to use my grief to help others not only be prepared for unexpected tragedy but to strengthen their relationship with God.
This memoir is a story of resilience, hope, and God's grace.
I am honored to have the opportunity to share it with the world.
